Verso's manifesto

Earlier this year we helped create Verso, and design, prototype a few versions of their publishing platform. While working with Hugo, we help them craft their manifesto.

You are an artist.

You didn’t just take pictures, you captured moments. You didn’t just scribbled, you told stories. You see things where others don’t. You learned about lighting and composition. You broke the rules. You composed just one frame, your way. You made it look weird. You made it feel yours. You held your composure when others didn’t find meaning in your compositions. You got exhausted. You thought about giving up. You supported your art through side jobs. You don’t create for the sake of creating, volume does not appeal you. You chased your inspiration, you refined your taste. There’s more to art than what you share publicly, most images never see the light of day. You want a life around your art. It’s not a hobby, it’s your journey.

Own your art, tell your story.
